GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB : Meet and maintain all Dunn-Edwards Service expectations, fully comprehend and consistently perform all Five Key Performance Areas of the Sales Associate position, Must be friendly, positive attitude and ability to work within a team, must be able to effectively communicate with customers, store management and other sales associates. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Perform all assigned task his/her manager assigns. Comprehend and commit to memory all Dunn-Edwards Four C's of professionalism and Store Vision Statement. Follow oral and written daily job duties to completion, ability to navigate and operate a POS system, fully follow all Customer Account Verification processes. The ability to meet store recovery protocols and maintenance; an ability to learn, utilize corporate provided training tools for all product knowledge and operating systems. Fully follow and comply with all Dunn-Edwards policy and procedures. Follow LEAD training program for development in SAP functions, ASM key performance areas, cycle counting procedures and all module training pieces. Maintain positive customer and employee relations; reporting any problems/complaints immediately to store management team. To assist with inventory, bulk stacks merchandising and placing on sales floor, stock rotations and proper store mark downs. To assist with will calls, merchandising and house keeping task to ensure neat, clean and safe working environment. This position requires the completion of LEADS 1, and continued growth in LEADS 2& 3 for advancement. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : This job does not have supervisory responsibilities. There are no subordinate supervisors reporting to this job. There are no non-supervisory employees who report directly to this job EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE : Four years of High School with diploma or GED equivalent; or combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS : For safety reasons, ability to read, write, and communicate in English is required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Read and write English for safety purposes. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to Operate a Point of Sales system and complete cash transactions with financial accuracy. REASONING ABILITY : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS : None. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION : This job will require general computer knowledge, mathematical experience and customer service skills.
