II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :1. Consistently follow Welk and departmental service standards at all times.2. Enthusiastically greet guests and check them in or out of the Resort paying close attention todetails ensuring that any needs are met, and challenges are resolved.3. Regularly talk, listen and help resolve conflicts with guest. An expert communicator will beable to listen effectively to find the root cause of issues, and communicateclearly and in a friendly way to solve the issue and keep the guest happy.4. Frequently use telephones to direct callers to correct departments or discuss resort amenities.5. Attend departmental meetings and workshops to further your knowledge about the property.6. Attend safety meetings, keep the workplace in a safe condition, and work in a safe manner.Know all safety and emergency procedures and be able to handle any emergency situation.7. Propose ideas or find ways to improve services, systems, and/or procedures.8. Perform any other duties as assigned by Front Office Managers or Supervisor.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. -The requirements following this paragraph are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. -Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or Experience:One year certificate from college or technical school; or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language Skills:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. -Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. -Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organization. -Excellent communication skills required. -Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. -Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. -Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. - -While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear.
