Job Description:
A company is looking for a Utilization Management
Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducts reviews to ensure medical necessity and appropriateness of
hospital admissions and stays
Coordinates discharge planning and identifies alternative care
interventions
Performs certification of outpatient surgeries and assists with
quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Unrestrictive Registered Nurse license issued by a state or
territory of the USA
Minimum of two years clinical nursing and/or managed care
experience
Must reside in specific states to be considered for the
position
