Responsibilities:Follow open and closing procedures according to
office policies and proceduresGreets and checks in patients in a
polite, prompt and helpful mannerHas patients complete and sign any
appropriate forms. Reviews all completed forms for accuracy and
updates, including insurance informationCollects all copayments,
deductibles and outstanding balances according to Policies and
ProceduresAnswer phones, transfers call and communicates messages
from patients to physicians, medical assistants and office staff
when appropriateWorks collaboratively with Centralized Services to
support patient needsCheck Out patients, schedule follow up
appointment's and provide patient with appointment related
documentsMaintain effective and organized system to ensure timely
patient flowMaintain all logs and required checksRespond
appropriately and timely to patient concerns and/or needs or
escalates patient concerns to manager as neededEnsures their work
is being performed according to company policies, procedures, and
standardsProvides high quality care and service excellence to our
patientsPerforms other administrative and clerical duties as
assignedParticipates in a variety of department initiativesEnsures
all OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulations are followedFollows proper
reporting protocols for any compliance or incident reporting as
neededMaintains strict patient and employee confidentialityOther

Diploma/GED1+ year receptionist experienceBeginner level of
computer proficiency (including Microsoft Outlook, Teams)Full
COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role.
Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses
must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group
will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as
all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of

California residents is $16.00 to $31.44. Pay is based on several
factors including but not limited to education, work experience,
