Job Description Job Description Job Title: Weekend Cleanroom Production Worker Job Description Join a leading supplier of surgical one-time-use items, instruments, and kits for hospitals and healthcare product manufacturers as a cleanroom production worker. This role involves working diligently on the 1st shift on a Part-Time basis on on the following schedule, Friday through Sunday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Responsibilities Count, cut, measure, fold, or modify raw materials according to the directions in the Device Master Record and perform necessary inspections and documentation in line with QS and GMP policies. Pick raw materials based on production work orders and batch records. Scan and verify raw goods using barcode systems to ensure correct lot numbers, expiration dates, and quantities. Perform visual inspections of materials for damage, contamination, or discrepancies. Seal products in final packaging configuration, ensuring proper procedures and machine settings for the sealer are followed. Prepare packaged work in progress for sterilization, completing necessary documentation and control numbers per QS and GMP. Maintain proper inventory control procedures, including product staging, segregation, and rotation. Perform and document scheduled facility cleaning per QS. Understand and conform to proper cleanroom etiquette. Communicate and collaborate with production, purchasing, quality, and management to accomplish assigned goals and objectives. Meet objectives of the quality management system and recommend improvements as needed. Essential Skills Experience in cleanroom, medical assembly, or warehouse environment (1 year preferred). Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Strong attention to detail and motivation to work. Proven team leader capabilities. Ability to operate basic production equipment. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Additional Skills & Qualifications Insightful and enthusiastic leadership skills to create a positive attitude and build company morale. Work Environment The position requires wearing cleanroom gear such as scrubs, white coat, gloves, hair net, and prohibits the use of makeup, jewelry, eyelashes, and nails. The environment is predominantly Spanish-speaking among tenured employees, so basic English is necessary. The work schedule is Friday-Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with flexibility required for earlier starts and later finishes as needed. Set breaks are taken after four hours, and employees are allowed to drink water or use the restroom with lead approval, as they would need to ungown and gown up again. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Placentia, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
