Job Description:

Experienced bilingual Head Housekeeper required for a hotel in Indio. Only relevant candidates will be considered. The applicant must have worked as a head housekeeper in the hospitality sector and must have an eye for details. Able to supervise, organize and review housekeepers' work and laundry room. Able to organize the number of housekeepers required based on previous day's occupancy and /or forecast. Assign rooms and allocate time required to clean stayover & check out rooms, ensure maid carts are stocked up, there is sufficient inventory of linen, bedding, cleaning supplies, review proper records are kept of daily rooms cleaned/not cleaned, missing/damaged or not working items in rooms are timely reported to maintenance and front desk. Check rooms are vacant and ready according to set standards and report them to Front Desk by the end of shift. The head housekeepr must be able to communicate well with other co-workers as well as guests. The head housekeeper must be physically fit and able to work on the weekends and holidays. Must have their mode of transportation. Also, be able to work as a housekeeper when required and during off season. Has to be flexible to perform other duties as instructed by the Manager.
