This contract position offers the chance to work in a dynamic clinical environment known for a growing per diem pool, providing professional growth and valuable hands-on experience. Responsibilities: Provide expert nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care units, including management of tracheostomies and ventilators. Monitor patient vital signs and responses to treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain meticulous compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active RN license. Strong proficiency in stepdown nursing practices, particularly trach and vent management. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP as applicable. Up-to-date immunization records, including MMR and Varicella, or documented declination. Ability to complete negative TB testing and pass drug and background screenings. Availability to work weekends and preferably a full schedule through the end of January and first week of February. Schedule: Weekend availability required. Full schedule availability preferred from mid-January through early February.
