Sable Corporation is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Norwalk, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a 13-week contract . This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid decision-making, and the ability to manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced emergency setting . The ideal candidate will have experience in triage, emergency interventions, and stabilization of critically ill or injured patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Key Responsibilities: Assess, monitor, and collect patient history and symptoms , coordinating with providers to develop patient care plans Organize and prioritize patient care in the emergency department , following protocols and treatment guidelines Administer medications and treatments with accuracy and clinical knowledge Perform and assist with emergency interventions, procedures, and stabilization techniques Maintain and perform daily checks on emergency equipment , including monitors, crash carts, and oxygen cylinders Ensure compliance with Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) standards and facility policies Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care Collaborate with EMS, medical staff, and fellow nurses to ensure timely and effective patient care Qualifications: Active RN License in CA (Required) BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications (Required) TNCC Certification (Preferred) Minimum 1-2 years of recent Emergency Department experience (Required) Strong ability to work under pressure, assess rapidly changing conditions, and perform life-saving interventions Experience using EPIC or other EMR systems (Preferred) Sable Corporation Job ID 2025-130.
