Job Description:
A company is looking for a Psychiatrist (PRN) to provide
clinical leadership and conduct consultations for Medicaid
beneficiaries.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct peer-to-peer consultations and document findings
Provide clinical expertise for planning and policy
establishment
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and represent the
organization in state appeal processes
Required Qualifications
Licensed Psychiatrist (MD/DO) in the state of Virginia
Board Certification in psychiatry
Experience in Utilization Management and Case Management
Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare programs
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
