From Inpatient and Emergency services at its 300+ hospital, to a full range of outpatient, primary, and specialty care clinics, this community health system has earned a reputation for amazing patient outcomes and innovative care models. The Nurse Supervisor Athletic Medicine Clinic will play an integral role in supporting patient care and well-being across the continuum of care.Reporting to the Clinical Director of Ambulatory Services, the Nurse Supervisor of the Athletic Medicine Clinic will have the opportunity to work with clinical and administrative departments throughout the medical center and health system. Most acutely, the RN Supervisor will work closely with leaders and personnel from the Orthopedics Services department, the Athletic Health Department, and Quality / Patient Experience.The Nurse Supervisor will lead clinical and non-clinical operations in a really fantastic and high-volume location. This Athletics and Sports Medicine Practice has two full-time providers and two Orthopedic specialists providing care to anywhere from 10-20 patients a day. This clinic has been described as a great place to work, where everyone gets along and feels like a family.The Athletic Clinic Nurse Supervisor will take administrative and clinical leadership an incredible team of Orthopedic and Sports Injury specialists. The RN Supervisor will actively manage the daily activities of the practice, including:

• Maintaining clinical oversight of patient care and satisfaction for patients of all age ranges from Pediatrics to Geriatrics
• The Supervisor will have direct influence on budgetary maintenance and control
• Providing leadership and expertise for performance improvement opportunities and quality management actions
• This person will also oversee staffing for the department, developing schedules, assigning staff cases, evaluating performance, and helping to hire new members as needed.
• Maintaining departmental guidelines, policies, and practices in accordance with local, state, and federal regulators including ICA, ISO, OSHA, TJC, etcThe Athletic Medicine Clinic Nurse Supervisor will quickly learn that Southern California, has something wonderful for everyone.
