Job Description:
A company is looking for an Animation Director to lead and
inspire a co-development team of animators for high-fidelity
action-adventure titles.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the animation vision in collaboration with the Game and Art
Directors
Guide animators and assess animation requirements with Department
Leads and Designers
Manage animation goals and foster a positive team environment
through mentorship and feedback
Required Qualifications
Extensive leadership experience in animation within the game
development industry
Demonstrated ability to nurture and develop animation talent
In-depth understanding of gameplay systems, including combat and
traversal animations
Expertise in animation graphs and real-time game engines
Collaborative mindset for working with co-development teams
