We are currently looking to add a talented Dealership Human Resources Manager that aligns with our core values and acts with respect, intelligence, greatness, honesty and teamwork.
Reporting to the Senior Director of HR, the Dealership Human Resources Manager will manage all local HR activities in support of the dealerships assigned to included execution of HR strategies, policies and practices that contribute to positive business results.

    Here's what you'll be doing:
    • Oversee the monthly Brand Meeting Cycle through partnership with the General Managers
    • Promote high employee engagement in multiple assigned dealerships
    • Handle any and all employee relations to the assigned dealership(s)
    • Support employee and manager development as directed and aligned with the Ken Garff standards
    • Assist with internal communications regarding the brand
    • Administer employee surveys as directed from corporate and partner with Regional HR and the General Manager to analyze results and implement change as needed
    • Coordinate and facilitate New Employee Orientation utilizing content provided by corporate teams
    • Become a subject matter expert in other HR administrative functions to include; payroll process, basics of pay plans, Ken Garff benefits, Workday (HRIS systems), unemployment claims, etc.
    • Administer and Ensure new hires adhere to all company standards relative to drug testing, background check, and MVR reporting; coordinate the new hire process with talent acquisition and management to ensure a smooth process for the employee
    • Attend and represent Ken Garff at local recruiting events by partnering and taking direction from our Talent Acquisition team
      Here's what you'll need:
      • Bachelor's degree preferred
      • At least 3-5 years of HR generalist/manager experience; preference for large company and/or retail environment with both hourly and salary employees
      • Knowledge and 3-5 years of FSLA experience
      • Relevant experience working with pay plans and state laws in a complex environment
      • Must have employee relations experience with knowledge of relevant employment law; company employment policies and practices, state case law
      • Prefer experience handling employee survey data, focus groups, and open communication meetings
      • Presentation experience and a presence that commands respect, attention, and care
      • PHR Certification a plus
      • Workday experience a plus or similar HRIS with basic data input, running reports, and analyzing data
      • Ability to influence leaders through outstanding communications - both oral and written
      • Proven ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects
      • Have a proven ability to be a credible expert in Human Resources
      • Ability to adapt and lead change efforts
      • Some knowledge of interviewing and selecting top talent
