opportunity is available for an experienced education professional
to provide specialized home instruction for a Deaf/Hard of Hearing
(DHH) student. This position focuses on delivering personalized
education services within a supportive home environment in Irvine,
California, from April 6th through June 5th. Responsibilities:
Provide 3 hours of daily one-on-one instruction, Monday through
Friday, for a homebound DHH student. Collaborate closely with the
Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) DHH Program Teacher to
implement prescribed curriculum and assignments. Work alongside the
students parent and district-provided ASL interpreter present
during instruction sessions. Adapt teaching methods to meet the
students individual learning needs and ensure effective
communication. Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching or
tutoring students with disabilities, particularly those who are
deaf or hard of hearing. Special Education certification is
preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the
ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Location and
Schedule: Irvine, California. Part-time commitment of 15 hours per
week, with sessions scheduled as 3 hours daily, Monday through
Friday. Instruction will take place in the students home. This
